Greeting

One of the first thing to learn in any language is how to greet with people you meet. In English Word for greeting have many word  you maybe say “Hello, hi also each time (Morning, afternoon and evening)” you will speak difference word. But for thai language you use only one word is Sa-wad-dee”.
Remember :  When you say hello (Sa-wad-dee) or every sentence you can add short word to the end of a sentence for politeness is “Khrap/Kha”
Khrap   : used by male at the end of every sentence
Kha       : used by female at the end of very sentence

Ex  :-    when you say hello (Sa-wad-dee) you can speak like this
                                      Male      :  Sa-wad-dee  Khrap
                                      Female  :  Sa-wad-dee  kha

Thai people have a good method for greeting are bringing the hands together to the chest, we call this is “garn-wai” and gives smile to each other every time
After greeting by say “Hello (Sa-wad-dee)” in English normally will ask “how are you?” in thai you can speak “Sa-bai-dee  mai?”
Ex  :    1.   How   are  you  today?
                                            Sa-bai-dee  Mai   Wan-ni?

Remember  :   In thai  when you ask the question  you will put “Mai”  to the end of sentence for question word.

When you ask  “How  are you?”  (Sa-bai-dee Mai?) the answer is  :
